  • Learn the rules of the game.
  • Smile and enjoy your cricket.
  • Turn up promptly for training/matches. Inform your coach/manager if you are going to be late.
  • Payment of any fees for training or matches must be paid promptly.
  • Listen to your Coaches and Managers.
  • Do not argue with the officials or other players.
  • Respect your team mates. Remember that no one is any better or more important to the team than anyone else.
  • Safety equipment must be worn, for hard ball cricket, box, gloves, helmet and pads.
  • Do not borrow other player’s equipment. Ask your coach for any item you do not have with you.
  • Applaud all good play from both teams.
  • Shake hands with your opponents at the end of a match.
  • Keep control of yourself.
  • No swearing.
  • No chewing gum.
  • You are not allowed to consume alcohol whilst on club premises or representing the club away from home.
  • Do not take or use any banned substances.
  • Practice makes Perfect.
  • Talk to your coaches should you have a problem.
